We process personal data and have adopted this Privacy Policy to explain how we process your information. 

 

We evaluate if our data processing could negatively impact your fundamental rights to ensure that we secure your data as effectively as possible. 

What Personal Information do we collect and why?

Personal Information Provided by You 

 

We may collect personal information from you at the application stage, when shortlisting candidates for an interview, during the interview and the assessment of your profile for the position, and when making a conditional and/or final employment offer. We may perform pre-employment background and reference checks with your permission. We may also collect your name, email, job title, and the country you are contacting us from. We collect this data to better support you with your inquiries. 

 

We collect the following information: 

  • Contact information such as name, contact details, and photo, if provided 
  • Date of birth 
  • Previous experience and employment entitlements, education, qualifications, CV, and answers to questions relevant to the position you have applied for. 
  • Information provided when completing tests or profile questionnaires and/or attending an interview. 
  • Personal Information from Other Sources 
  • Your profile on LinkedIn and other social media profiles 

 

We may also receive your personal information from a third party who recommends you as a candidate for a specific job opening or for our business more generally. 

Why do we process your information

In order to analyze your application, candidacy, and decide whether we can offer you a work position now or in the future, Dawn uses the personal information you provide when applying for a position to determine your abilities, traits, and credentials. Our use of this information is based on our legitimate business interest in the recruitment of staff for our business. 

 

If you are successful, the personal information you provide during the application process will be securely retained by us as part of your employee file for the duration of your employment and after termination for as long as required by applicable law. 

Even if you are not qualified for the job for which you have applied, we will keep your application on file for six months in case it is necessary or appropriate to match you to another open position. 

 

The processing of your personal information is primarily based on GDPR article 6(1)(b). 

Who do we share your personal information with?

We may, where necessary, share your personal data with: 

  • Third-party database (Homerun) where your personal data is stored. 
  • Third-party recruitment agencies contracted to assist us with the vetting of job applicants.
  • Third-party CRM system Monday.com where your personal data is stored when contacting us using our website formula. 

Transfers

Personal data will only be processed within the EU/EEA. 

Your rights

You have the following rights: 

You have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data. 

 

You also have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted. 

 

If the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Your withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before you withdrew your consent. You may withdraw your consent by sending an email to [email protected]   

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (data portability). 

 

You may always lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g., the Danish Data Protection Agency. 

Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data as follows. 

If the processing of your personal data is based on GDPR, art. 6.1.e or art. 6.1.f, see above regarding legal basis, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your situation, at any time to the processing of your personal data. 

 

Where your personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data about you for such marketing.
